Thanks Kim for keeping me in the loop :-). Senator Arlen Spector switches from the GOP to the Democratic Party giving the Democrats 59 seats in the Senate. Once Al Franken is seated, the Democrats will have a filibuster proof 60 seats. Yippie!
I have had a smile on my face since CNN broke the news of Spector's defection from the GOP to the Democrat's side of the aisle.
Now we need Minnesota to force Coleman to concede to Franken to give the Senate the 60 seats to prevent the GOP from filibustering!
C'mon healthcare bill!!!
Sebelius has now been confirmed as HHS Secretary! Another victory today :-)
